We are happy to introduce Emilia Iglesias Moncayo to the BiocatCodeExpander team!
Emilia has recently joined Ivana Drienovská’s group at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Emilia will work on the design of novel artificial enzymes utilizing novel non-canonical amino acids, her multidisciplinary project involves the chemical synthesis of novel non-canonical amino acids, expression and characterization of novel non-canonical amino acids-containing enzymes, and engineering variants to improve enzymatic activity of new-to-nature reactivities.
