<p>We are thrilled to share that on May 8<span style="font-size: 11.6667px;">th</span> and 9<span style="font-size: 11.6667px;">th</span>, BiocatCodeExpander team attended the NextGenBiocat 2025 conference in Milan, Italy!</p>
<p>BiocatCodeExpander DCs actively participated, showcasing their exciting work through insightful posters. We are especially proud that Emilia, Cecilia and Jan Hendrik received Poster Prizes, recognizing the exceptional quality and innovation of their research! Congratulations to our award winners, and we look forward to continuing to push boundaries in biocatalysis!</p></div>

				<div class="et_pb_text_inner"><p>NextGenBiocat 2025 was followed by our BiocatCodeExpander satellite event, where our coordinator Dr. Ivana Drienovska introduced the BiocatCodeExpander team and objectives and 7 of our DCs gave presentation pitches to show their research concepts and progress. Special appreciation goes to our invited speakers, Dr. Andrea Hupfeld who gave a lecture titled “<em>Engineering of photoxenases: photocontrol of enzymes with unnatural amino acids”</em>, and Dr. Amanda Jarvis who gave a lecture titled “<em>Using genetic code expansion to access artificial metalloproteins”</em>. Their insightful contributions greatly enriched our conference experience.</p></div>
